Fuji Digital Camera: Rugged, Feature-Rich and Affordable
Fuji digital camera models provide features camera users want. Fuji's FinePix
line covers the digital camera spectrum from ultra-thin pocket sized to advanced
prosumer models. New Super CCD-HR Sensors and RP Processors combine high speed
and quality with low noise and power requirements.
For the Budget Minded
From under $125, the Fuji FinePix A345 packs a lot of features in a compact
digital camera. 4.1 megapixel CCD, 3X optical zoom (35-105mm equivalent), red
eye reduction, high speed USB 2.0 interface and movie modes are a few.
A step up, but still under $180, is the FinePix E510 with 5.2 megapixels,
3.2X wide optical zoom (28-90mm equivalent), and movie mode with sound. Both of
these Fuji digital cameras are powered by common AA batteries.
Mega-Megapixels and Super Zooms
Fuji's new FinePix S9000 is a photo enthusiast's dream. The 5th generation
9.0 megapixel Super CCD-HR Sensor and RP Processor deliver high resolution, low
noise images. Add a 10.7X Wide Angle Optical Zoom (28-300mm equivalent) and
Super Macro that can focus as close as .4", and you'll be hard pressed to find a
shot you can't take. Other features include dual media slots (xD-Picture Cards
and CompactFlash/MicroDrive), TTL 235K pixel tilting LCD screen and full manual
controls. ISO speeds to 3200 and anti-shake/freeze frame make the S9000 a real
bargain for around $600.
For about half the price, the FinePix S5200 has many of the same features.
Primary differences are 5.1 megapixels and 10X (38-380mm equivalent) optical
zoom. High speed, lower power requirements auto or manual controls and other
advanced features make the S5200 comparable to digital cameras costing hundreds
more.
A long time consumer favorite, Fuji digital cameras are reliable, feature
packed and reasonably priced. Be sure to compare the FinePix line when shopping
for a new digital camera.
